Worship Schedule

Welcome to the worship opportunities here at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Altamont, IL. Worship for us is very important. It is a time in which the Lord feeds us through His Word and through the Sacraments. Each week we hear the Word of God read from various books of the Bible. We also hear Pastor Schuessler preach on some part of God’s Word, bringing us relevant and timely sermons that touch our lives and help us as we go through the coming week. We also spend time in praise and prayer. The songs we sing lift our hearts and souls and give us the opportunity to thank God for the many blessings He has given us. The time of prayer is very important, as we take our cares and concerns to the Lord who hears us and cares for us.

We have three worship opportunities each week. Come and join us in worship.

Saturday 6:00pm (A less formal but still traditional worship service.)

Sunday 8:30am (Traditional worship using Lutheran Service Book and other forms of liturgical worship.)

Sunday 11:00am (Blended worship accompanied by our own Praise Teams, including contemporary songs and more familiar praise hymns.)
